We are a San Francisco-based force-free dog training academy that specializes in Puppy Training and Behavior Modification.
Founded in 2019 with our mission to help owners build a positive relationship with their dogs, we provide customized tools and techniques for individual dogs.
Our training programs only use force-free, positive reinforcement methods that have been scientifically studied and proven by dog psychologists, and certified animal behaviorists.

Hi! My name is Daven Park and I am a certified dog trainer with CTBC (Certificate in Training & Behavior Consultation) from DTIA (Dog Training Internship Academy) based in San Francisco. I am a strong believer in force-free training and I do my best to give dogs the best experience through everything I do, from puppy training to behavior modification!
My love for dogs and my passion to help people through the four-legged friends started a few years ago after the car accident that led me to a serious shoulder injury. During my recovery, I started to walk my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs as part of my physical & mental therapy and that’s when I realized the power of warm-hearted dogs. I decided to follow my heart and take a totally different path in my career. I left my 10 years of work experience as a project manager and became a dog trainer so I can help other people in the community through their dogs!

Our Training Methods
We practice only force-free training and discourage the use of force and punishment-based correction methods. All of our training programs use humane techniques to install positive behaviors and routines. A treat or praise or reward will be given immediately when the desired behavior occurs.
This rules out any methods that use tactics to scare, startle, intimidate, or inflict pain on a dog. We never use nor advise our clients to use tools like bark collars, chain or prong collars, slip leads, e-collars, and citronella sprays that are all designed to punish, not reward.

behavior modification
Understanding the root cause of your dog’s behavior is key to resolve your dog’s unwanted behavior. At our private behavior modification sessions, we will come to your home, neighborhood park, beach, or wherever you are having issues with your dog, at a time that is best for you.
Walk & Train
Your dog’s daily walk is likely one of the most exciting events of their day. Going for a walk can give them physical exercise, mental stimulation, and a chance to keep tabs on the neighborhood. Our Walk & Train Program is for those who need help with their dog’s daily walk and have a busy schedule.
Marlowe & Sunny (Marlowe's Mom)
Daven will guide you in everything you need to prioritize in the early crucial weeks when it actually matters, to circumvent future behavioral issues, while solidifying the good ones. Leading up to bringing Marlowe home, we've read both of Zak George's books, Puppies for Dummies (lol), and went through tons of research, youtube videos, and podcasts--none of which could ever substitute for hands-on training that we learned from Daven's Puppy Package.

Daven is very talented at reading doggy language and deciphering the best ways to incentivize and positively reinforce your pup.
Daven goes above and beyond in private trainings to ensure you as dog parents are adequately equipped and offers up tons of dog specific advice and suggestions that meld well with our home life, surrounding area and overall lifestyle. We would recommend him to anyone!
